About this course
Space isn't far away; space is already inside your daily life. Every time you use GPS, check the weather, make a card payment, or stream a video, you're relying on space systems. Space Foundation is the new digital literacy, and this course provides the foundation to understand the invisible infrastructure that powers the modern world.
This isn't astronomy. If you can understand a smartphone, you can understand space. Through five progressive modules, you'll discover how satellites, orbits, launches, and space stations shape everything from banking to agriculture to emergency response. You'll also explore humanity's push beyond Earth orbit, to the Moon, Mars, and deep space.
By the end of this course, you'll see the world differently. You'll understand the systems that others take for granted, and you'll be prepared for careers in one of the fastest-growing sectors of the global economy.
